Hiring for Tech Content Writer. The Tech Content Writer will be responsible for developing and maintaining user manuals, technical guides, and process documentation for BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines. The candidate will work closely with BI teams to ensure accurate representation of analytical solutions and create various documentation materials to support end users.
Job Title: Tech Content Writer
Experience: 5-7 Years
Location: Chennai (Initial onboarding) followed by remote support
Shift Time: UK Shift Time
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and process documentation for BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
– Document data models, data flows, and report structures to support BI governance and training.
– Collaborate with BI teams to ensure accurate representation of analytical solutions.
– Create FAQs, release notes, and best practice guidelines for BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, or Looker.
– Simplify complex technical information for non-technical users.
– Maintain version control and document updates in line with system enhancements.
– Support the creation of training materials and help guides for end users.
Mandatory Requirements:
– Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
– Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, or similar documentation tools.
Great to Have:
– Experience working in BI projects with documentation for reports, dashboards, and data analytics.
Qualifications:
– 5-7 years of hands-on experience in technical content writing, particularly for BI solutions.
– Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar.
– Strong analytical and organizational skills.
– Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
– Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
– Ability to work in UK shift timings.
