Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Technical Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento. In this role, you will create clear, engaging, and accurate content that helps us understand and utilize these platforms effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation, including how-to guides, FAQs, product descriptions, and tutorials related to Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento.
Research and stay up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices for eCommerce platforms.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
Convert complex technical information into user-friendly content.
Assist in developing content strategies to enhance user experience and engagement.
Review and revise existing content based on user feedback and platform updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Magento.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
Strong research skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and SEO best practices is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
